We are pleased to inform you that, as of 01.09.2026, a specialized Endocrinology and Osteology Center will operate in our clinic, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment and long-term follow-up of diseases of the endocrine system and metabolic bone disorders.
The Head of the Endocrinology & Osteology Center is Dr. med. Spyridoula Tsiomidou, who has extensive experience in endocrinology and osteology in Germany, ensuring a holistic and differentiated approach to a wide range of endocrine disorders, including thyroid diseases, adrenal and pituitary disorders, type 1-4 diabetes mellitus, metabolic syndrome, obesity, menstrual disorders and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Dr. Tsiomidou’s specialization in osteology qualifies her as an expert in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis. As a specialized Osteoporosis Center, we will offer comprehensive evaluation of bone metabolism, bone density measurement (DXA), fracture-risk assessment and individualized therapeutic protocols in accordance with the current international guidelines. Moreover, the Trabecular Bone Score (TBS)-Assessment will provide a more precise evaluation of spinal trabecular bone quality and microarchitecture.
