Instructions for Use of the Telemedicine Application
For the best and more direct service of our patients, who possibly due to the severity of their condition wish to have as immediately as possible the medical assessment of Dr. Georgallas and it is not possible for them to attend in person, we break ground and we provide the possibility of arranging a digital appointment.
Having the most modern technological means, a platform for conducting digital appointments via teleconferencing has been activated.
During the digital appointment, the patient’s medical history is taken as well as the study and detailed analysis of imaging findings and other diagnostic tests. The clinical examination includes the performance of various movements/tests through which important information is obtained both about the origin and severity of the symptoms and about the presence and the degree of possible intercurrent muscular and neurological disorders. In conclusion, the possible forms of treatment are discussed with the patient and an individualized treatment plan is drawn up.
Since the remote assessment can not completely replace the close clinical examination of the treating physician, in cases where it is deemed necessary and before performing invasive/micro-invasive treatments, a new appointment will be scheduled at the doctor’s office in order to complete the medical assessment and validate the indication for further diagnostic or/and therapeutic steps.
We recommend that the digital appointment be made only in cases of patients whose condition requires immediate medical evaluation by Dr. Georgallas and not for incidents that have the possibility to wait until the reasonable period of the visit of Dr. Georgallas in Cyprus.

Access to the online telemedicine application
Press the “ONLINE APPOINTMENT” button.
Registration in the online telemedicine application
Enter your name, email and password. Then press the “REGISTER” button. If you are already a registered user, then you can log in by clicking the “Already registered?” link.
Updating your profile details
After your registration and if this is your first time scheduling a digital online appointment, please fill in your profile details.
Arranging a digital online appointment
To schedule a digital online appointment, click on the “Make an appointment” link and then select one of the available positions (green color).
Payment for a digital online appointment
After selecting the appointment, click the “Pay” button to go to the payment page. Then enter the required details and complete your payment. The service manager will contact you within 72 hours to confirm your appointment and to inform you about the procedure to be followed before your scheduled appointment.

Start of a scheduled digital online appointment
To start a scheduled digital online appointment, select one of your appointments, then press the “APPOINTMENT ROOM” button. To start your teleconference with the doctor on the specific day and time you have scheduled, press the “START APPOINTMENT” button.
What you need to ensure before your scheduled digital online appointment:
- Please collect and send to the service manager all your medical data and records that are relevant to your condition and are necessary for the medical evaluation. The service manager will contact you within 72 hours before your scheduled digital online appointment.
- In case it is not possible to come to the doctor’s office to file your medical examinations, please send all your medical data and files in electronic form to the service manager.
- Please be connected to the digital online telemedicine application of the doctor’s office at the predetermined time you have scheduled.
- For a possible cancellation of your upcoming appointment, please inform the contact person, at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, as in case of non-timely cancellation or non-attendance at your online appointment, your money will not be refunded.
