Dr. Georgallas was an instructor in the IGOST-Workshop, which took place on the 10th of October 2020 at the University Hospital Düsseldorf, Germany. (IGOST- German Orthopaedic Pain Society).
The most important spinal injection techniques were practiced hands-on on specimens using anatomical landmarks, without the use of image guidance under the instruction of master clinicians.
This workshop was designed to teach physicians the basic principles of spinal injection techniques from the cervical spine to sacrum, the detailed topographical anatomy, the diagnostics and the causal as well as symptomatic pain therapy for spinal syndromes. The course provided with an excellent didactic and practical implementation value, which can be directly applied to the daily work on the patient.
